The Chicago Bears are peaking at just the right time if they want to make it to Super Bowl 45, according to linebacker Lance Briggs.
A lot of this confidence can be put down to the terrific performances they have put in during the month of November. Before that they had lost two of three, but since have won four in a row and have been picked by many as tips to win in Arlington come February and the Super Bowl betting odds 2011 reflect this.
The offence that looked unorganised and poor before November now ranks has the third-best in the country, and the special team units have also made massive contributions and luck has seemingly been on the Bears' side.
Not one member of their roster is currently injured, which makes a massive difference to a side, especially when it comes to defence, and their form sees confidence running through the veins of the Chicago players. Anyone looking to bet on Superbowl action should bear this in mind.
Brian Urlacher has said the old adage of taking one game at a time but admits the team think they are "pretty good" and are dreaming of the Super Bowl, while Briggs claims the Bears' form is "really hitting" at the right time.
"In order to get to and win the Super Bowl, all three phases are going to have to be effective, and right now all three phases are effective," Briggs said.
"We didn't hit early and top off. We're hitting midway through the year, and we'll top off at the Super Bowl."
The Bears will need their form to continue in coming weeks if they want to make it to the Cowboys Stadium for Super Bowl 45. They are going to have to come through the likes of play-off chasing New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers if Urlacher, Briggs and co are to get their rings at the end of the season.
