Monday's game is critical for the Chargers if they are to stay in the division race. "One thing that gives us a chance is that we're still in the hunt in the AFC West," San Diego tight end Antonio Gates said. "We never said it had to be pretty, and it wasn't pretty last year." The Chargers are 2-2 for the fourth time in the last six seasons. The Chargers had a bye last week and they have been very good recently following their bye week, winning five of their last six games.
